Terence Crawford believes he is a harder puncher than boxing legend Floyd Mayweather.
Crawford is currently preparing for his clash with WBA light middleweight champion Israil Madrimov in Los Angeles live on DAZN, and if Crawford emerges victorious, he will become a four-weight world champion.
When it comes to what could be next for Crawford, a fight against the unified super middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez appears to be gathering momentum, and if this contest does get made, it will be a huge moment for boxing.
A fight between Crawford and Alvarez is being likened to the 2013 meeting between the latter and Floyd Mayweather which Mayweather won, and Crawford believes that if he was to face the Mexican, there is one area which he believes he would better Mayweather in his performance.
"Canelo is a great fighter, he’s well accomplished, he’s very big, very strong," Crawford told DAZN's Off The Cuff.
"I believe in my skills, it would be a great fight, it will be similar to him and Floyd.
"But I feel like I punch harder than Floyd."
