Terri Harper could face a unification bout with Beatriz Ferreira or a rematch with Alycia Baumgardner after taking the WBO female lightweight title, says Eddie Hearn.
The 27-year-old outboxed belt holder Rhiannon Dixon to take a victory by unanimous decision in an encounter on Saturday at Sheffield's Canon Medical Arena.
Harper becomes a three-weight world champion with her latest success, and returns to winning ways after a draw with Cecilia Braekhus and defeat to Sandy Ryan.
Speaking afterwards, Matchroom promoter Hearn offered the prospect of a clash with IBF title holder Ferreira, or another fight with Baumgardner, who Harper previously lost to.
"Maybe you see that down the line," he teased. "You've got Beatriz Ferreira, you got Alycia Baumgardner [for a] potential rematch if she moves up.
"You've got Katie Taylor fighting Amanda Serrano in a few months. [Harper is] the boss right now, and tonight, she [is] world champion again."
Regardless of who Harper faces next, Hearn professed his delight at her delivering another victory following some tough results, helping to restore her standing.
"She know sits on the brink of some massive fights," he added. "There's some huge names out there. It was a really great fight to watch.
"There was a lot of pressure on her tonight, and it's a massive achievement in the sport of boxing."
