Teofimo Lopez didn't deliver a shiny performance Thursday night in Las Vegas.
But it was still enough for judges to grant him the unanimous decision victory over Jamaine Ortiz to retain his WBO junior welterweight world championship.
With the win, Lopez certainly has options.
He can keep pursuing a fight with Terence Crawford, although Crawford doesn't seem interested.
"The Takeover" can entertain giving Crawford protege Keyshawn Davis a shot, although Lopez seemed to dismiss any thought of that.
Or he could simply look for the best fights to put together to add more 140-pound hardware to his mantle.
The super lightweight division currently touts Subriel Matias and Devin Haney as its other champions and a bout with either — especially Haney — would figure to be a fruitful next step in Lopez's career.
There's also the avenue of perhaps reengaging talks for a Ryan Garcia fight if both camps are willing.
