Three possible opponents for Jesse "Bam" Rodriguez after defeating Juan Francisco Estrada

Three possible opponents for Jesse "Bam" Rodriguez after defeating Juan Francisco EstradaMatchroom
The 24-year-old sensation has plenty of enticing options.

Perhaps Matchroom Boxing's Eddie Hearn said it best.

"When you mention [Terence] Crawford, when you mention [Oleksandr] Usyk, when you mention [Naoya] Inoue in the pound-for-pound list, you better say those three special letters — 'Bam,' right? 'Bam' Rodriguez is a pound-for-pound star, unquestionably."

Hearn's comments to DAZN's Chris Mannix came after Jesse "Bam" Rodriguez unloaded a vicious liver shot to produce a seventh-round knockout of Juan Francisco Estrada to become the new WBC and Ring Magazine super flyweight world champion Saturday night in Phoenix, Arizona.

In doing so, the 24-year-old boxing phenom has plenty of options at 115 pounds ... and beyond.

Here, DAZN lists three possible opponents for one of boxing's most exciting young stars.

A Juan Francisco Estrada rematch

Yes, "Bam" Rodriguez outboxed the legend Estrada en route to knocking him down twice — once in the fourth round and the other time for good in the seventh.

However, the bout had the legendary veteran Estrada also deliver a flash knockdown of Rodriguez during the sixth round.

That generated a level of excitement that could bode well toward creating fervor for a rematch.

After being knocked out on that devastating liver shot, Estrada did express his desire to trigger his rematch clause with Rodriguez.

And if that does pan out, we may see it before the year ends, scheduling boxing fans for some more fireworks.

The winner of Kazuto Ioka vs. Fernando Martinez

Ioka holds the WBA super flyweight championship and Martinez owns the IBF super flyweight title, with the two set to unify early next month.

With Rodriguez having snatched the WBC 115-pound world championship, "Bam" facing the winner of Ioka-Martinez would put him in position to possess three of the four titles in the super flyweight division. From there, the only missing piece would be Kosei Tanaka's WBO title.

Rodriguez, while speaking with DAZN on Saturday night, did share that he has his sights set on the winner of Ioka-Martinez so reigning undisputed at 115 pounds is definitely on "Bam's" radar.

Dream bout against Naoya Inoue

"Bam" downplayed the possibility of having a "fantasy" pairing with undisputed junior featherweight king Naoya Inoue, saying he needs to thoroughly dominate his own super flyweight division first.

However, sometimes the business of boxing can force situations.

If there's enough clamor and money that follows, who's to say that "Bam" wouldn't try to bridge the gap of those seven pounds that separates he and the "Monster" to make one of the most thrilling fights that boxing fans would ever see?

After all, both "Bam" and Inoue possess supreme boxing skills and scintillating power that would make the fight an absolute dream bout.
