Three possible opponents for Oleksandr Usyk after defeating Tyson Fury in rematch

Three possible opponents for Oleksandr Usyk after defeating Tyson Fury in rematchDAZN

Oleksandr Usyk is the world's number one heavyweight.

This position was cemented after a unanimous decision win over Tyson Fury on Saturday night in Riyadh in a performance which only pound-for-pound greats can produce.

The dust has barely settled on Usyk's victory and already discussions are rife about who the Ukrainian could face next.

Here, DAZN News tries to predict the future and lists three opponents Usyk could face in his next fight.

Daniel Dubois

With the Tyson Fury rivalry seemingly put to bed, do not be surprised if Oleksandr Usyk pursues the chance to become a two-time undisputed champion at heavyweight.

The one man standing in his way will be IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois and there is previous history between the two.

Usyk and Dubois clashed last year in a contest remembered for Dubois' controversial low blow in round five before he was stopped by the Ukrainian in the ninth.

Dubois is a much improved since his first encounter with Usyk so fans can expect an entertaining fight if the two meet for all four world heavyweight titles, but "Dynamite" must first get past Joseph Parker on February 22 to make this a reality.

Jai Opetaia

Usyk has teased that he could move back down cruiserweight in the not so distant future, and if he does, there is only one man he can face.

IBF cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia is the world's number one cruiserweight and he is on the hunt for the biggest fights possible.

A clash between Opetaia and Usyk will be an intriguing one as both men are known for their high pressure and impressive footwork inside the ring.

Moses Itauma

British heavyweight Moses Itauma is being touted as the country's next heavyweight star, and there are some that hope he can break Mike Tyson's record of becoming the youngest world heavyweight champion.

With Usyk the world's number one heavyweight, what better way to try and attempt to make boxing history?

The main question is whether this possible fight against a pound-for-pound great will be a step too far in the early stages of Itauma's career, but if his first round knockout win over Demsey McKean on the Usyk vs. Fury 2 undercard is anything to go by, an Usyk vs. Itauma fight could come sooner rather than later.
