In exacting revenge against Robson Conceição on Saturday night, O'Shaquie Foster not only proved he's the superior fighter, but also became a two-time WBC junior lightweight world champion.
Now, there are plenty of options ahead for Foster.
Here, DAZN lists three opponents for Foster to possibly take on in the near future.
Winner of Emanuel Navarrete vs. Oscar Valdez rematch
Fresh off defeating Conceição by split decision, Foster didn't mince words by saying that he'd like to fight the winner of the upcoming Emnauel Navarrete-Oscar Valdez II bout.
Doing that will present a title unification matchup as Navarrete enters the December 7 rematch with Valdez as the reigning WBO junior lightweight world champion.
Navarrete coasted to a lopsided unanimous decision victory over Valdez when the two clashed in August 2023.
Foster facing either Navarrete or Valdez would all but guarantee fireworks as all three boxers can let their hands go.
A trilogy with Conceição
With their original fight and Saturday night's rematch both ending in a split decision, we have to at least entertain a Foster-Conceição trilogy to close the chapter on this rivalry once and for all.
The rematch had an uptick in action with Conceição using his length to deposit stab jabs to the body early, while Foster upped his output during the second half of the fight to overwhelm the Brazilian.
How would a third fight unravel?
Only one way to find out.
Anthony Cacace
If Foster is hellbent on only having a title unification bout at 130 pounds next and neither of the aforementioned options can take place, then why not look to Cacace?
The reigning IBF junior lightweight world champion is coming off a uanimous decision victory over Josh Warrington at Wembley Stadium in September.
At 23-1 (8 knockouts) to his name, Cacace would present quite the stiff challenge to Foster (23-3, 12 KOs) who would have to use his blend of sweet science skills and pointed power to produce a win over the rugged Irish fighter.
