Tommy Fury makes bold prediction ahead of potential Jake Paul rematchDAZN

Tommy Fury’s confidence has skyrocketed since defeating Jake Paul last weekend and he’s backing himself to stop his great rival in a potential rematch.

Fury climbed off the canvas in the final session to score a spilt decision points win over Paul, and due to the commercial success of the event, it appears that a rematch is likely at some point this year.

Despite being contractually obligated to a rematch with Paul, Fury’s future appears bright with a number of potential opponents lined up over the next few years.

With KSI, Floyd Mayweather, and Carl Froch all linked to competing at this level of boxing, Fury could have his hands full, but for now, Paul is likely to be his next target.

“A rematch is something that I would do, it is something that I believe in,” said Fury when appearing on Good Morning Britain

“We only did eight rounds. I'm ready to go out there and do a re-match, I owe that to myself. I believe in the rematch I'll definitely stop him.

“I've never been the eight rounds before so you're just a bit wary about what's in your tank and how the fight will go.”
