Tony Bellew maintains comeback talk with stern warning to potential rival - 'I’d absolutely pulverise him'DAZN

Tony Bellew has continued to comment on a ring return almost five years after walking away from boxing.

At the end of 2018, Bellew, following two impressive wins against David Haye, challenged Oleksandr Usyk for all the belts at cruiserweight but his dream was ruined when he was stopped by the impressive Ukrainian.

In retirement, the Liverpool man has become one of boxing’s most respected voices while also taking part in a number of TV shows.

It appeared that Bellew had settled into retirement, but it’s clearly obvious that a comeback could happen with Poland’s Lukasz Rozanski, the WBC bridgerweight champion, the target.

“Getting ready for Creed 3 last year I got in really good shape and ended up seeing a set of abs that I hadn’t seen in the best part of a decade, and I thought ‘why not,’” said Bellew when speaking with talkSPORT on a potential fight with Rozanski.

“To be totally honest, I couldn’t make cruiserweight again safely and I’m straight up to the point, but I could make bridgerweight nice and comfortable and if I’m being honest, I think I’d absolutely pulverise him.”
