The former cruiserweight world champion believes there is one name fighters are not willing to face.

Former cruiserweight world champion Tony Bellew believes a heavyweight fighter has become the most avoided name in the sport.

The heavyweight division has been rejuvenated following Anthony Joshua's recent knockout wins over Otto Wallin and Francis Ngannou, and the upcoming fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed title on May 18 live on DAZN PPV

But one heavyweight contender which does not seem to be in the mix for big fights is Michael Hunter.

The American returns on April 14 when he takes on Artem Suslenkov and Bellew responded to the announcement with a message of support for the 35-year-old.

"Best of luck champ! You deserve a break! #MostAvoidedFighter," Bellew wrote on X.

Hunter currently boasts a 22-1-2 professional record with 16 of those wins coming by way of knockout, and his only loss came against Usyk when the two met in a cruiserweight contest in 2017.
