Tony Bellew names the biggest fight since Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd MayweatherDAZN

Tony Bellew has named what he believes is the best fight since Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather

In the former world champion's eyes, it is this month's undisputed welterweight title clash between Errol Spence and Terence Crawford in Las Vegas, and it's the fight which excites the DAZN boxing analyst.

"I think this is the biggest fight we’ve seen since Manny Pacquiao got in with Floyd Mayweather," Bellew told The DAZN Boxing Show

"It’s one of them divisions that always lights up and always creates a star, but the fact that Terence Crawford has gone through the divisions and now comes up against such a formidable force.

"It takes you back to the likes of Sugar Ray Leonard, the way he went through the welterweight divisions and then the light middleweights, and then finally arriving at the middleweight division and facing Marvin Hagler, it feels like that kind of crossroads fight."

Bellew then went onto explain who is the better operator inside the ring, but while he believes it is Crawford, he does have some doubts to the multi-weight world champion's ability at 147lbs.

"Terence Crawford. I just think that he has more strings to his bow, that’s the only difference," Bellew continued.

"I really love Errol Spence, I think he’s an absolutely brilliant fighter and I’m not detracting from him in anyway, I just think Terence Crawford does more stuff.

"He’s capable of more things in a boxing ring, front foot, back foot, he’s got everything.

"Pound-for-pound he carries a little more pop than Errol Spence, but saying that at welterweight, I’m not sure he has the same kind of power, the same kind of strength as Errol Spence."
