Tyson Fury is ready to agree to his undisputed clash with Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury and Usyk squared off in the ring after the WBC champion scored a victory over Francis Ngannou in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Briton can count himself a little fortunate to keep his unbeaten record intact after he was sent to the canvas in the third round by the former UFC heavyweight champion, and many observers seemed to think he had done enough to pull off an enormous upset.
Nonetheless, Fury was declared the winner by split decision, a result that keeps the audience waiting with bated breath for an undisputed clash.
There had been rumours of a late December date for the two to fight, again in Saudi Arabia, but after Fury displayed signs of ring rust, and was cut in at least one place on his face during the clash, there would be good reason for him to push back any contest.
Nevertheless, speaking in the ring after his win, he was willing to entertain a scrap for all four belts.
Fury said: “It’s been going on for a long time, we were supposed to fight in April, it never happened.
“Let’s do the fight over here, for all the belts, the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
“It’s not up to me, I’m sure we’d go now. It’ll be our next fight, guaranteed.”
