Tyson Fury launches foul mouthed rant about Oleksandr Usyk ahead of huge rematch

Tyson Fury launches foul mouthed rant about Oleksandr Usyk ahead of huge rematchMikey Williams/Top Rank
The mind games have begun.

Tyson Fury appears to have entered 'fight mode' ahead of a second meeting with Oleksandr Usyk.

The rematch between the pair, which is scheduled for December 21 in Riyadh, will see Usyk put his WBA, WBO and WBC heavyweight titles on the line as the world's top two heavyweights look to settle their differences.

The first fight took place in May and what transpired was a thrilling contest.

Fury appeared to be in control during the opening rounds, but momentum swung in the latter stages with Usyk almost stopping his British opponent in the ninth. The late surge from Usyk saw him secure the win by split decision and become the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era.

In a post published on Instagram on Thursday, Fury mocked Usyk's inability to finish the job in their first encounter before launching into an expletive filled rant towards the Ukrainian and his team.

"You had your shot but couldn’t finish the job! Mistake!" Fury wrote.

"Now your about to feel the wrath of a menace!

"F—k @usykaa f—k @klimasmanagement f—k @alex.krassyuk & if your down with usyk then f—k you2! Gypsy king 2024 coming for you! dec21 is mine.

"Me against the world. Incoming 3x heavyweight champ."

If Fury is able to beat Usyk, he will do something which domestic rival Anthony Joshua failed to do and that is becoming a three-time world heavyweight champion.

Both Fury and Usyk were ringside for Joshua's knockout loss to IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois, and now Dubois will have a keen eye on the December 21 rematch in the hope of landing his own shot at undisputed glory.
