Tyson Fury has shared the ring with numerous high-quality operators, but there's one man he’s claimed he will never step foot in the ring with.
During a legendary career spanning 16 years, Fury has faced Wladimir Klitschko, Deontay Wilder, and Oleksandr Usyk, but he’s stated he’ll never fight Jospeh Parker.
The former WBO world champion has long been a training partner of Fury and the pair have shared many rounds together when helping each other prepare for huge fights.
Parker is currently on a good run of form after victories against Wilder and Zhilei Zhang, but Fury was firm when asked if he’d ever take on the New Zealander.
“Definitely not. No. I’d rather give him the belt than fight him for it,” said Fury last year when questioned by Talksport if he’d ever take on Parker.
"We’re too close for that fight and there’s plenty of heavyweights out there.”
