The WBC world heavyweight champion made a shock revelation when discussing the easiest fight of his professional boxing career.

WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has revealed who he claims was the easiest fight of his career so far, and to some fans it may come as a surprise.

During his 34-fight career, Fury has fought some of the biggest names in heavyweight boxing including hard-hitter Deontay Wilder, but his breakthrough into the boxing mainstream came in November 2015 when he upset Wladimir Klitschko to become a unified world heavyweight champion.

With Klitschko dominating the heavyweight division for over 10 years, many fans and experts were not giving Fury a chance of coming away from Germany with the win.

However, the British fighter did exactly that, beating Klitschko in a narrow unanimous decision win, and now he has claimed that historic victory was the easiest fight of his career.

“I think the one for me that I expected to be the toughest fight – against Wladimir Klitschko, who was undefeated in eleven years – it was one of the easiest fights,” Fury told Frank Bruno in an interview for Wow Hydrate

"I think he did need a bit of counselling after that. Mentally focusing for that fight, in training camp we were focusing on like if he hits me, I’m gonna get knocked out.

"With that fear factor, I went in there and I boxed unbelievable. Then I took his best shots and I was like ‘Is that it?’

"That was supposed to be my hardest fight. I prepared mentally, physically and emotionally for it to be my hardest fight.”
