The heavyweight division is heating up.

Campbell Hatton goes for his first professional title this Saturday when he competes for Central Area honours against James Flint in Sheffield live on DAZN

Hatton is aiming to use this fight as a platform for bigger contests and he’s been speaking about huge events in the build-up to his own battle.

The entire boxing world is talking about Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, and Hatton is no different.

Joshua has installed himself back into the mix following two losses to Oleksandr Usyk, and now Hatton is giving his backing to the Watford man based on their most recent performances against Francis Ngannou.

Fury laboured to an unconvincing points win over the former UFC superstar before Joshua registered a second-round knockout against the Cameroonian.

"I have always said if he gets his head right, he would be back, and he seems to have done that. Going off current form, you have to say that AJ beats Fury,” said Hatton when speaking to talkSPORT

"But we need to see Fury fight Usyk before we get too giddy, because Fury could look a million dollars.

"Based on their last fights, you have to say AJ is back and he looked a lot better than Fury did in his last fight."
