The MMA expert has given his verdict on this weekend's fight.

One of this year's biggest sporting events is set to take place on Saturday when WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury takes on former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia.

It may not be a fight which many boxing fans wanted to see, but it is one which has generated significant interest with Ngannou making his professional boxing debut after a successful career in the UFC.

While there maybe critics, respected names within combat sports have been giving their predictions for the biggest crossover fight since Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor six years ago.

On that occasion, Mayweather toyed with McGregor before bringing the clash to an early end in the tenth round.

When asked by DAZN to make a prediction for Fury vs. Ngannou, Hardy is expecting the contest to last a few rounds before Fury puts his foot down and hunts for the stoppage.

"I think we’re going to get a good three rounds of Ngannou trying to put some punches together and catch Tyson Fury with something," Hardy said.

"The smart thing to do would be to work the body because Fury is so good at slipping his head away and making people look really bad.

"I’m thinking we’ll get three, maybe four rounds of Ngannou boxing and Fury trying to hold him off with a lead hand and wear him out.

"Ultimately, Fury is going to start looking for that rear uppercut, it’s the punch that keeps playing through my head because of the way Ngannou dips into range and he goes so wide with his punches. I can see Tyson Fury just slipping that rear uppercut up the centre line and catching him."
