If Tyson Fury’s fight with Oleksandr Usyk is to happen shortly, Carl Froch believes he has the right man to help the Ukrainian prepare.
Fury and Usyk have finally agreed to share the ring and it looks their eagerly anticipated fight could be set to take place at the end of this year or early next.
Fury is scheduled to take on Francis Ngannou later this month and if he comes through that contest unscathed, Usyk should be next.
Froch, a former world champion at super-middleweight, believes Fury is a big challenge for Usyk to overcome but he’s identified one man who Usyk should bring in to help him get ready.
“To prepare for Fury, Usyk needs someone 6 '6" minimum,” said Froch when speaking to Best Gambling Sites.
“Wladimir Klitschko would have been a good sparring partner for Usyk, someone world class who can give you hard sparring and with that height and reach.
“There’s nobody out there as good as Fury and there’s nobody really like Fury with his size and weight, so you can’t replicate Fury.”
