Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are just weeks away from their fascinating undisputed battle and the fight has got stars from other sports excited.
Fury, the WBC champion, will put his belt on the line with Usyk’s WBA, IBF, and WBO titles also up for grabs. The fight takes place on February 17 and the world will finally know who the best heavyweight is.
Fury enters the bout with concerns about his form following a lacklustre display last October when he was dropped by Francis Ngannou before winning via split decision.
Usyk’s most recent win occurred back in August when he retained his crowns by stopping Daniel Dubois.
Glen Johnson, a former footballer with Chelsea, Liverpool, and England, is looking forward to the fight and he’s had his say on the upcoming showdown.
“Usyk can move and box, but so can Fury, and he’s even bigger,” said Johnson when speaking to DAZN via NJ.Bet.
“It’s a great matchup but I just think that Fury is just too big and will be able to bully him a little bit. Where AJ was a bit scared of Usyk, Tyson Fury won’t be.
“If they both show their best, I think Fury will come out on top.”
