Tyson Fury has the backing of Mark Tibbs as he gets ready for his undisputed title fight with Oleksandr Usyk next month.
The heavyweight pair will clash on May 18 with all four world titles up for grabs and it’s a fight that has the entire boxing world talking.
Last October, Fury almost blew his chances of facing Usyk when he was dropped by Francis Ngannou, but he escaped with a split decision to remain unbeaten.
Questions exist about his preparations in that fight, but Tibbs is backing him to get the job done.
“He will have his work cut out, but I still think that because he is the bigger animal, unless he underprepares then it could go wrong for him,” said Tibbs when speaking to Boxing Social.
“I am backing Tyson Fury. He will have knuckled down for this fight, for sure.”
