Tyson Fury announced his 'retirement' after beating Dillian Whyte last month

It looks like Tyson Fury's future will be influenced by the outcome of Oleksandr Usyk's rematch with Anthony Joshua.

After knocking out Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium last April, the WBC world heavyweight champion announced that he would be retiring.

However, with plenty of big fights still left to be made, some fans are doubting whether Fury has hung up the gloves for good.

An undisputed fight with the winner Usyk vs. Joshua 2 for the Ukrainian's WBA, WBO and IBF world heavyweight titles which is set to take place in July could be on the table for Fury, and some think the allure of making history will be difficult to turn down.

Speaking to Fight Hype, Fury's US promoter Bob Arum believes the 33-year-old will wait for the rematch to take place before deciding whether to walk away from the sport of boxing for good.

"I think Fury is gonna wait to see how the Joshua fight comes out with Usyk, and then he’ll make a determination on whether he wants to continue,” Arum said.

“Because other than fighting the winner of Joshua-Usyk, there’s really nothing there that’s really of interest to Tyson Fury, so we’ll have to see.
