With many wondering which bizarre boxing-adjacent attraction is next for polarising internet star Jake Paul, one of the prime candidates to be his next opponent has issued a stark warning to the American.
Tommy Fury is the younger brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, and has a 5-0 record at the age of 21 in a professional career that is still very much in the development phase.
Nonetheless, he and Paul have gone back-and-forth in recent months, and after finishing retired MMA star Ben Askren in just two minutes on Saturday Paul said he'd gladly take on the younger Fury next, if his world champion sibling was also on the card.
Tommy made a point of addressing the YouTuber right at the start of a recent social media Q&A, sensing that the topic would dominate proceedings otherwise.
"I'm just going to answer this one now because all my messages are going to be about this I can tell," he said.
"I'm here, I'm ready, and I'm game to fight. This man [Jake Paul] obviously isn't.
"And if he's not game to fight, stop using my name, and if you wanna fight, come and get some."
DAZN's Steven Muehlhausen recently examined what we learned from the Paul vs. Askren card, while Alexander Netherton assessed the front-runners to face the cash cow celebrity next.
