Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez will move up one division to the cruiserweight class in order to fight to fight former WBO light heavyweight titlist Joe Smith Jr. tonight.
The duo will step into the ring live in Las Vegas on DAZN with the victor problem giving themselves the chance of a title clash.
Ramirez most recently came up against Dmitry Bivol in November last year, with Bivol the clear winner.
Smith last fought against Artur Beterbiev in June last year, losing his WBO title.
