The heavyweight division has kicked off 2024 with a bang following the announcement that Anthony Joshua will face former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia.
Joshua finished 2023 on a high with a dominant win over Otto Wallin, but now faces an opponent who could provide a tough test.
Ngannou made his boxing debut against WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury last October and shocked the world with what was a solid performance. While Ngannou may have lost the fight on the judges' scorecards, he did manage to knock down Fury and proved that he could share the ring with some of heavyweight boxing's best operators.
