The story leading up to Tyson Fury's upcoming third fight with Deontay Wilder is as surreal as it is well-documented.
The two put their respective undefeated pro records on the line in their first encounter in December 2018, and with many onlookers split on who was ahead with mere minutes left of the 12-rounder, Wilder flattened Fury with a trademark power shot.
Fury looked out cold, before surprisingly rising up towards the end of the ref's 10-count, and despite the 10-8 round went on to secure a draw.
In their February 2020 rematch, things were much different as Fury comfortably bested the American, scoring a seventh-round stoppage. Then the COVID-19 pandemic put paid to a contracted rematch for the now ex-champion, leaving Fury to pursue an undisputed title superfight with Anthony Joshua. That is, until Wilder's arbitration hearing concluded.
"The Bronze Bomber" successfully appealed the attempt to simply walk away from his rematch clause, and just like that, AJ-Fury was off. Fury-Wilder 3 was on. And after all the trash talk and all the excuses made over why he lost their second bout, it's all-or-nothing for Wilder's hopes of remaining a top-line name in today's pugilistic scene.

Where is Fury vs. Wilder 3 taking place?
The fight will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Fury last fought there in 2019 when he decisioned Otto Wallin; Wilder will be fighting in the building for the first time — though he has competed in Las Vegas multiple times in the past, including the loss to Fury last time out.
