WBC interim light middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora has made his prediction for a potential fight between undisputed super middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and David Benavidez.
After beating Caleb Plant last month, many fans now want to see Benavidez challenge the Mexican and Fundora believes it's a matchup his former sparring partner can win.
"I like David for that fight. I think he wins, but we will see if he gets the fight," Fundora responded on The DAZN Boxing Show when asked to give a prediction.
"I think he deserves it, of course he deserves it. Who is Canelo going to fight?"
Alvarez returns to the ring on May 6 when he takes on John Ryder live on DAZN, with a rematch against WBA light heavyweight champion being planned for later this year.
