There were two fight cards which took place on Saturday.

In addition to Jake Paul's clash with Mike Perry, there were two additional fight cards which took place on Saturday.

Birmingham, England hosted a Magnificent 7 card which was headlined by the British middleweight title rematch between Nathan Heaney and Brad Pauls.

The two produced a split decision draw back in March, and the second meeting did not disappoint. Heaney started off well, but Pauls grew into the contest and managed to knock down the defending champion in the fourth.

This moment swung the momentum in Pauls' favour and as the fight reached the latter stages, the Newquay fighter asserted his dominance and landed a number of shots in the final round which knocked down Heaney who was unable to beat the referee's count.

Earlier in the day, there was world title action in Japan with Junto Nakatani defending his WBC bantamweight title against Vincent Astrolabio.

It turned out to be an easy night for Nakatani who knocked his opponent out in the first round with a straight left to Astrolabio's body.
