Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk meet later this month and the winner will be crowned the undisputed heavyweight champion.
Fury and Usyk collide with all four heavyweight belts up for grabs, but will they be the first heavyweight to be crowned undisputed.
The answer is no. Although this will be the first time a fighter will hold all four belts at heavyweight, there’s been times in boxing when four titles weren't required to be undisputed champion, because not all governing bodies were recognised as credible institutions, and not all of them existed since the start of the sport.
Below is a full list of fighters who were undisputed champion depending on what existed at the time in relation to belts.
