Yordenis Ugas shocked the world with win over Manny Pacquiao.

Yordenis Ugas wasted no time in identifying his next rival.

Following his deserved victory over Manny Pacquiao on Saturday night, the Cuban stylist has catapulted himself into the higher echelons of the talent laden 147lbs division and his thirst for big fights has increased after sharing the spotlight with Pacquiao.

The top two places at welterweight are occupied by Errol Spence and Terence Crawford, and it’s the former that Ugas has called out next.

The Texan was due to be in the opposite corner to the Filipino legend instead of Ugas but an eye injury forced him out of the fight. Ugas has wasted no time in challenging Spence when the 2012 Olympian eventually returns to the ring.

“The plan is to unify at welterweight,” said Ugas in his post-fight interview. “He [Spence] is the next one on the list, but most of all, I’m praying that he recuperates. Everybody said he [Pacquiao] was the champion but now everyone knows who the real champion is.”
