Zhilei Zhang and Agit Kabayel exchanged gifts and jokes at a light-hearted exchange on Monday, with the former called "the next monster" before their heavyweight clash.
The two men will go head-to-head in the ring as part of a stacked undercard at Riyadh Season's The Last Crescendo, live on DAZN Pay-Per-View on February 22.
Both are coming off big wins against Deontay Wilder and Frank Sánchez respectively, with the winner likely to be considered for a world title challenge later this year.
But at a media event in London on Monday, both men were all smiles, as Zhang gifted Kabayel a present - a photograph of himself - for Chinese New Year.
"What's in front of me is a red envelope," the former said. "Chinese New Year is coming, and there is a tradition of giving red envelopes to people I like.
"This one goes to Mr. Kabayel to wish him good luck. After the press conference, we're going to go back to our routines and we're going to train like hell.
"One month later, we're going to meet in the ring and the whole world will see what Chinese power is all about."
Kabayel was in a jovial mood too, adding: "Now, I fight the next monster. I'm ready for the next challenge, I train hard for the fight. This guy has very good power.
"I think this fight is very good, and the winner can go for a world title shot. We will see on February 22. Thank you for the nice picture!"
