Hard-hitting heavyweight Zhilei Zhang is confident that he would make easy work of Britain's Daniel Dubois in what would be an exciting heavyweight fight.
Zhang has made himself one of the division's most feared fighters after back-to-back stoppage wins over Joe Joyce in 2023.
These two victories have put Zhang in the mandatory position for the WBO world heavyweight title which is currently held by Oleksandr Usyk, but with the Ukrainian facing Tyson Fury for the undisputed heavyweight title on February 17, Zhang will have to wait for his shot at glory.
Currently in the form of his life, Zhang will want to keep active and one name which has been mentioned as a possible opponent is Daniel Dubois.
Dubois bounced back from a loss to Usyk in August with a stoppage win over Jarrell Miller last weekend and while Zhang had praise for the 26-year-old's performance at "Day of Reckoning", he did have a warning for Dubois if a fight was to be made between the two in the future.
“I would say it might be too early for him to get in the ring with me. I can see his potential, and I can see his mentality is being built stronger and stronger, maybe one or two fights down the line but right now it’s probably a bit early," Zhang told FightHype.
“It should be [easier than the Joyce fight.] I’ve been paying really close attention to these guys. I keep my eyes on them, so it should be pretty easy.”
