Bellator visits Hawaii for the second time Saturday night, when Bellator 236 goes down from Neal S. Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, live and exclusively on DAZN.
The main event features Honolulu native and women's flyweight champion Ilima-Lei Macfarlane putting her title on the line against Kate Jackson.
Macfarlane (10-0) headlined Bellator's debut in the Aloha State at Bellator 213 in December 2018 and submitted Valerie Letourneau in the third round. She returned in April at Bellator 220 to defeat Veta Arteaga in a tougher-than-expected affair by third-round TKO.
Jackson (11-3-1) comes in having won three of her last four. In Jackson's last time out, she stopped Lena Ovchynnikova by first-round TKO at Bellator 223 to earn the championship opportunity.
