The new PFL Europe got underway on Thursday, headlined by a controversial defeat for French MMA star Cédric Doumbé.
Against another Frenchman, Baysangur Chamsoudinov, Doumbé twice signalled to referee Marc Goddard that there was a possible problem with his foot before the fight was stopped.
Doumbé is still an accomplished fighter. While he has five wins from six fights in MMA, he has a lengthy, title-winning career in kickboxing, and also boasts success as a boxer.
Here's everything you need to know about Cedric Doumbe's resume, record and bio.
What is Cedric Doumbe's professional record?
Cedric Doumbe boasts a 5-1 record in mixed martial arts with none of those wins coming by way of knockout.
He has one win from one fight in the boxing ring, and a 75-7-1 record in kickboxing, stopping 45 of his opponents.
Championships
Starting his career as a kickboxer, Doumbe has won two A1 WGP tournaments, as well as the WAKO Pro K1 world middleweight title.
Moving to Glory in 2015, he won the welterweight title at the franchise, and then vacated the belt in 2021 when he switched to MMA.
Doumbe then linked up with Superkombat Fighting Championship, and the UFC, but did not lift any titles. After a stopover at MMA Grand Prix, he moved to the PFL.
Biggest wins
Cedric Doumbe becomes Glory welterweight champion against Nieky Holzken, December 10, 2016
Doumbe tasted glory in the Glory kickboxing franchise when he met Nieky Holzken in December 2016, in Oberhausen, Germany.
Doumbe was unfancied against his opponent but did enough to win via split decision.
In the process he became the first French champion in Glory's history, and would go on to win the belt two more times, with many successful defences.
Cedric Doumbe maintains his perfect start to his MMA career as he scores nine-second KO in PFL debut against Jordan Zebo, September 30, 2023
Making his debut for PFL in Paris in September last year, the pressure was on Doumbe to prove he could cut it in a major MMA franchise after moving on from UFC.
The Frenchman succeeded as he took on Jordan Zebo, and needed just nine seconds to defeat his opponent with a KO, making it five wins from five.
