Newly crowned 2024 PFL women's featherweight champion Dakota Ditcheva is a fighter in demand.
After stopping the experienced Taila Santos in the second round of their championship contest last month in Riyadh, Dictheva bagged herself another PFL title and $1m.
With an unbeaten 14-0-0 record, Ditcheva is well on the road to becoming an MMA superstar with calls from fans to make a move to the UFC.
The UFC does have some of the world's best MMA fighters on its roster who would provide a stern test for Ditcheva, but in an interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, Ditcheva revealed that she will still be showcasing her talents inside the SmartCage next year instead of the Octagon.
"I am locked up with PFL, I will definitely be fighting for PFL next year," Ditcheva said.
"Especially now I have just won this title, that locks me in again, and I’ve got to defend it, I’m not planning on abandoning that belt just yet.
"I’m only 26, I’ve got so much more to give to the PFL, hopefully we will come up with a few things next year.
"I don’t know what the situation is regarding whether I fight in a tournament again or have some big fights, I don’t know, we’ll see, but I’m definitely with PFL."
