Francis Ngannou must be prepared to no longer be "the big dog in the yard" when he faces Renan Ferreira at PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants this weekend, live on DAZN.
The French-Cameroonian fighter will make his debut with the promotion at Riyadh's Kingdom Arena almost a year-and-a-half after he signed with them following his exit from UFC.
Ngannou has since contested two professional boxing bouts in the interim, first going the distance with Tyson Fury before a second round knockout loss to Anthony Joshua.

In his absence, Brazilian Ferreira - who measures 6' 8" in height and weighs over 264lbs - has established himself as one of the biggest heavyweight MMA fighters in the world.
Ahead of the clash, combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani outlined the challenge that Ngannou faces on his return to the cage, as well as what is on the line for his rival.
"Usually Francis is the big dog in the yard," he said in a DAZN documentary that aired in October. "In this particular fight, he is not.
"What an oppotunity for Renan Ferreira. This is the biggest fight of his life, by far. His life changes if he wins this fight."
Ferreira, who was the 2023 PFL Heavyweight Tournament victor, will face Ngannou for the PFL Heavyweight Superfight Championship.
He arrives on the back of four straight victories in MMA, with all but one coming inside the first round of the contest.
