Imagine such a dream bout.

Leave it to Jake Paul to stir things up.

Appearing at the PFL's Battle of the Giants Press Conference on Thursday, Paul was asked about UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones fighting the winner of the PFL's heavyweight title bout between Francis Ngannou and Renan Ferreira on October 19, live on DAZN worldwide.

Paul used the moment to jab Dana White, insinuating that such an unprecedented mega fight to declare best MMA heavyweight on the planet is nothing more than a pipe dream due to the UFC CEO not likely to allow it.

"I think Dana is scared to make it happen," Paul said of White authorizing Jones to face the Ngannou-Ferreira winner. "I think he doesn't want to lose his horse in Jon Jones. I love Jon Jones but that's too much of a risk for Dana to take."

He added: "Francis is one of the — if not the — baddest man on the planet. I think Dana's scared. I don't think he would want to do that but the MMA fans want that. Doesn't everyone want that?"

A Jones-Ngannou fight never came to fruition under the UFC but Ngannou did leave the company without being defeated for its heavyweight title.

Jones is slated to defend the UFC heavyweight title against former two-time champ Stipe Miocic later this year with interim titleholder Tom Aspinall waiting as patiently as he can for his shot.

Jones took to his X social media account Wednesday to voice out how the Miocic fight is the only bout he's concerned with, giving respect to the former champ in the process.

But as far as Paul is concerned Ngannou is "the man to beat" amongst the heavyweights in MMA. To that point, Paul believes that's what makes Ngannou's clash with Ferreira so intriguing.

"That's what makes this fight exciting is Ferreira being an insane competitor but he would become the man, he would become the greatest heavyweight in MMA," Paul insisted if Ferreira finds a way to win. "But currently as it stands, Francis Ngannou is the man to beat."
