Dana White stepped in between Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal, making sure the UFC 261 headliners couldn't get any closer during Friday's ceremonial weigh-in.
That preceded the welterweight champion of the world and the BMF champ hurling last bit of trash talk at each other before Saturday night's pay-per-view, live from the Jacksonville Arena in Jacksonville, Fla.
Masvidal, who vows to have his hand raised with an emphatic knockout, continued his theme of promising sheer violence.
"I know what you guys came here for — for violence — so, that's all I'm going to give you tomorrow," Masvidal said. "I'm going to baptize this individual with some holy fists. You guys know what I bring to the table. I'm going to knock this motherf—er out."
Usman opted to keep it brief.
"There's a reason why I am pound-for-pound one of the best to do this," Usman said, "and tomorrow 'and still!'"
