Looking back at Mark Hunt's 5 best moments in the octagonDAZN
"The Super Samoan" has delivered his fair share of savage walkoff knockouts. We remember some of them on Hunt's 46th birthday.

What's there not to like about Mark Hunt? Over the years, "The Super Samoan" has proven to be a legit tough guy heavyweight with some of the most savage walkoff knockouts the UFC has ever seen.

With Monday marking Hunt's 46th birthday, we look back at five of his greatest moments in the octagon. These highlights are the exact reason why "The Super Samoan" remains one of the most loved MMA heavyweights of all time.

Hunt gets the best of Derrick Lewis, June 11, 2017

It's hard to finish Derrick Lewis. Just leave it to a guy like Mark Hunt to try and make good on it, though. Hunt unleashed nonstop shots to the body and legs before stopping Lewis with a fourth-round TKO (punches) on this "UFC Fight Night" card in Auckland, New Zealand.

Delivering walkoff KO on Frank Mir, March 20, 2016

Hunt was patiently stalking Mir in the center of the octagon and then ... BAM! He unleashed an unforgivingly hellish right hand to Mir's head for the first-round walkoff KO. Hunt sauntering away from Mir's fallen body is about as savage as the knockout itself. Mir later tested positive for a performance-enhancing drug. Guess it didn't help much against "The Super Samoan."

Hunt savagely devastates Antonio Silva, Nov. 15, 2015

Their first bout was an absolute epic, blood-and-guts war back in December 2013, when the heavyweights essentially stood toe-to-toe and slugged it out recklessly for five rounds toward a draw that left each man completely spent and changed forever. However, Hunt made sure the rematch went very differently. He pounded Silva with a big right hand to the temple to drop "Bigfoot" in a heap before finishing him off with hard punches for the emphatic first-round TKO (punches). Beast mode.

Unleashing uppercut from hell on Roy Nelson, Sept. 20, 2014

As brutal, yet simplistic as a knockout that you'll ever see, Hunt briefly assessed how Nelson was moving before winding up a big right uppercut that looked like it was going to puncture "Big Country" through the bottom of his chin. As soon as Hunt detonated the shot, he knew it was over, as Nelson fell face first in a world of pain. Hunt threw his hands up in jubilation after another devastating finish.

Hunt topples "Skyscraper" Stefan Struve, March 3, 2013

The size difference was astounding, as Struve towered over Hunt by nearly 14 inches. Hunt knew he'd have to get inside to negate Struve's reach, and "The Super Samoan" bulldozed his way into his taller opponent's chest aptly. During the third round, Hunt unleashed a big overhand right that wobbled Struve off his nearly seven-foot base. He then came across Struve's chin with a ridiculous left elbow that had the Netherlands native slumped against the octagon with dead legs. The ref wisely stepped in before Hunt could dole out more brutality.
