Chandler doesn't think McGregor will fight again.

Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler were supposed to fight at UFC 303 on June 29 but just a few weeks shy of the event, McGregor was forced to pull out due to injury. Now, weeks later Chandler is telling fans that he'll be the one credited with retiring the UFC legend.

A fan asked Chandler what his game plan would be for McGregor and Chandler said, "Instill fear…let him pull out of the fight and embarrass himself, be known as the guy who retired McGregor without ever throwing a punch…."

Chandler also said McGregor is running from him and referred to him as "Where's Waldo" a character who hides in a series of children's books.

Instead of McGregor, Chandler, replying to another fan, proposed a fight with Nate Diaz who recently won his boxing fight with Jorge Masvidal. "Sit down, Ron… better idea - me and [Nate Diaz] fight like real men, while Conor sits on a yacht and watches on PPV in his slippers," Chandler tweeted.

There's still been no concrete timeline for McGregor's return, though he insists he will be fighting when his body is healed. Chandler has always held firm to the idea that he will wait for McGregor, but his recent tweets imply that may no longer be the case.
