'More violence' - Brendan Loughnane reacts to new PFL rule changePFL

Brendan Loughnane will return to the PFL Smart Cage on Nov. 29 in hopes of becoming a two-time PFL champion and he'll be doing it with a new weapon in his arsenal.

On Tuesday the PLF announced they'd be allowing the use of elbows during Friday's PFL Championship event, which Loughnane is headlining. This is the first time elbows will be allowed during the PFL season.

While appearing on the Ariel Helwani Show today, Loughnane reacted to the announcement.

"I did know this," Loughnane said when asked if he'd had a chance to prepare for the change.

"I've been preparing for the last two months with elbows, which is quite weird because for the last four years I've not been able to use one of my main weapons."

He continued, "Elbows was a big weapon of mine before I got to the PFL and now they've just been introduced again. Just in the nick of time. More violence Ariel."
