The Professional Fighters League and DAZN have announced an additional way to watch the upcoming Battle of the Giants PPV on Oct. 19.
Now viewers can choose between the classic traditional PPV viewing or the Helwanivision version which will feature famed MMA reporter Ariel Helwani, crew from Uncrowned, NFL Super Bowl Champion Rob Gronkowski, world-famous influencer Jake Paul and more who will offer their commentary for the historic event.
“We’re excited to debut Helwanivision during PFL’s signature event of the year,” said Ryan Spoon, President of Yahoo Sports. “Bringing the expert commentary from Ariel and crew to viewers on DAZN will be a fitting exclamation point to our Uncrowned launch week.”
Battle of the Giants will feature three title fights and is headlined by former UFC champion Francis Ngannou making his return to MMA and his PFL debut. He squares off with PFL's 2023 heavyweight champion Renan Ferreira for the PFL Super Fights Championship.
Others expected on the Helwanivision version are Chael Sonnen, Tim Welch, and Megan Anderson. This version is included in the PPV purchase.

When I heard Francis was making his return to MMA in the ‘Battle of the Giants,’ I jumped at the chance to partner with the PFL and take part in the Helwanivision alt cast,” said NFL Super Bowl Champion Rob Gronkowski. “I look forward to catching the action and making some history along the way on October 19. The co-main event of the event is a women's featherweight title fight between Bellator featherweight champion Cris "Cyborg" Justino and two-division PFL champion Larissa Pacheco. Also on the card is a title fight between Bellator middleweight champion Johnny Eblen and the challenger Fabian Edwards.
