UFC Saudi Arabia marks the promotion's return to live action after a one-week hiatus. The event will be the first of nine straight weeks of UFC events throughout the first half of 2025. Two big middleweight scraps highlight the top of the card with former champion Israel Adesanya taking on Nassourdine Imavov in the main event and Sharaputdin Magomedov taking on Michael "Venom" Page in the co-main event.
But it's a heavyweight fight we think fans should also be paying careful attention to.
On the main card, Sergei Pavlovich and Jairzinho Rozenstruik will face off for a fight with title implications and legacy ties.
Pavlovich has run into the first back-to-back losses of his career and will look to make a statement for his return to action. His last fight took place in June 2024 in the very same arena and we'd bet he'll be looking to not repeat the decision loss he suffered previously. We all know there's knockout power with Pavlovich as 15 of his wins have come via a first-round KO/TKO.
He'll be standing across the Octagon from someone with a similar reputation. Rozenstruik has won his last two and will be a formidable opponent to Pavlovich, which we think will motivate both to end the fight quickly.
