On Monday, Merab Dvalishvili took to his Instagram account and posted a video of a small cut over his left eye being tended to , while assuring fans that the training injury will not threaten him challenging bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley at UFC 306 on September 14.
That triggered O'Malley into taking to his X social media account and saying; "This little f—ing rat better not pull out I swear to god."
Dvalishvili vowed that "nothing changes September 14th I’m coming for the Belt."
But in having a press conference after his latest installment of the "Dana White's Contender Series" on Monday night, the UFC CEO just couldn't fathom why Dvalishvili would reveal the small cut in the first place.
"The whole world knows about Merab's cut. He posted it," White told reporters. "Our guys are so dumb, it's next level unbelievable. All the stuff that I talk about boxing, what I will give boxing is when something happens in a camp, man let me tell you what, it does not leak.
"Our guys can't f—ing wait to throw it up on social media. It's a small cut, it's no big deal but obviously needed to be posted."
Posting it could give a marksman striker like O'Malley a target in their main event fight.
"And why the f—k would you want him to know that? It is next-level stupid. Some of these guys are so stupid it's mind-boggling. It's unbelievable."
