The Professional Fighters League (PFL), the fastest growing and most innovative sports league, is delighted to announce today its main and co-main events for its first ever PFL Europe show.

In a blockbuster start to the season, two of the UK’s most talked about fighters, Simeon Powell and Dakota Ditcheva, will be looking to showcase their unbelievable finishing abilities on March 25 in Newcastle’s Vertu Motors Arena in what promises to be a night of “don’t blink” explosive action.

Stepping into the SmartCage in the main event, on a stacked fight card from Newcastle, will be the light heavyweight, Simeon Powell (7-0).

The 6ft 5 undefeated 23-year-old from London will be looking to build on his impressive last outing with the PFL back in August, when he takes on the dangerous Dutch fighter, Mohamed Amine (5-1).

The kickboxing specialist will be looking to cause an upset against Powell and set himself on the path to be crowned PFL Europe champion.

Also in the co-main event, the city of Newcastle is in for a treat, as the 24-year old lightweight Dakota Ditcheva (7-0) takes on France’s Clara Ricignuolo.

With seven consecutive victories - including the ruthless first round demolition of the undefeated Katherine Corogenes last time out – Ditcheva has now firmly established herself as the UK’s leading female prospect and considered by many as a future PFL champion after her breakthrough 2022.

Ditcheva takes the next step on her journey when she faces the toughest test of her professional career so far against Lyon’s Clara Ricignuolo (3-3).

With an event taking place every quarter throughout 2023, the groundbreaking new concept will feature 32 of Europe’s top ranked fighters competing across four weight classes. “Win and advance; lose and go home” after four events, four Champions will be crowned all taking home $100,000 and a chance to earn a spot in PFL $1 million global season.
