Khabib Nurmagomedov’s former trainer thinks that Alex Pereira will be the winner when he meets Jamahal Hill at UFC 300.
The card is full of the franchise’s best talent, and the two light heavyweights will meet at the weekend in a fight shown live on ESPN+ PPV in the US (click here for details).
Speaking to King Casino Bonus, Javier Mendez tipped Pereira to succeed.
He said: “I think Hill has a chance because he's elusive and a great striker, but I'm leaning towards Pereira to do the right thing and land those low kicks then mix it up.
"I think Pereira based on his skillet wins. Hill hasn't faced a striker like Pereira, so I think it's going to be tough for Hill.
“Hill has the knockout chance, but in the long run I think he loses unless he can take him down, but he's not known to be a great ground guy.”
