The UFC hosted a fight night from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas on Saturday, Feb. 10. 

A middleweight scrap between No. 11-ranked Jack Hermansson and Joe Pyfer went to the scorecards with the veteran proving experience weighs heavier than hype. Pyfer is a favorite of UFC president Dana White and will headlined his first card following three straight wins in the Octagon. But Hermansson's pressure and eventual takedown was too much for Pyfer who lost his first official UFC fight. 

Pyfer mentioned doing too much media before the fight, but says "no excuses" for his loss. 

The co-main event is what the fans are talking about though. Dan Ige starched Andre Fili in the first round of their fight, citing his pregnant wife as his good luck charm.

"I think we got the recipe. I'm gonna go home, get her pregnant again and fight again," he said in the cage after the win.
