With the featherweight division having a new king in Alexander Volkanovski, the champion will need new challengers for his UFC gold.
A few days removed from Volkanovski's successful title defense at UFC 251, the UFC will remain in Abu Dhabi for its next "Fight Island" card that features rising featherweights Calvin Kattar and Dan Ige battling to move up in the line.
Kattar is the No. 6 ranked featherweight who is coming off of a stoppage of Jeremy Stephens in May.
The No. 10 ranked Ige will also be making a quick turnaround after squeezing past Edson Barboza a week after Kattar's fight.
This will be the second show at Fight Island in the United Arab Emirates for the month of July, where it will continue to hold events without fans because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
