Will Jan Blachowicz get a shot at Jon Jones before Jones-Dominick Reyes rematch?DAZN
The Polish fighter made his case Saturday night, and Reyes responded.

Jan Blachowicz delivered a sledgehammer of a right hand to knock out Corey Anderson in the first round Saturday night, then immediately pointed to Jon Jones from inside the octagon.

"You promised me, 'You're next,'" Blachowicz barked to the UFC light heavyweight champion, who was in the front row at the Santa Ana Star Center. "Let's do this. Tell me when."

Jones seemed to be all game for the challenge.

When speaking with ESPN, "Bones" was complimentary of Blachowicz and acknowledged that the Polish fighter could very well be the next fighter he faces inside the octagon.

"Jan has great knockout power, he's very technical," Jones said. "His fundamentals are very sharp. I think he's going to make a great opponent."

When asked if he thinks Blachowicz will be his next opponent, Jones replied: "I could totally see the UFC matching us up with each other. I mean, what better way to make a claim for the title than to get a knockout like that? So, I have a feeling the UFC is going to be giving me a call real soon."

Many MMA pundits and fans alike would say that Dominick Reyes already delivered a better claim for the title on Feb. 8, when he pushed Jones to the limit and arguably did enough to dethrone the champ before "Bones" was awarded a controversial unanimous decision.

After seeing Blachowicz's performance and calling out of Jones on Saturday night, Reyes took to his Twitter account and posted:
