Molly Taylor and Johan Kristoffersson steered Rosberg X Racing to success in the Ocean X-Prix at Lac Rose in Dakar, Senegal on Sunday despite early contact with the X44 car of Lewis Hamilton's Extreme E team, driven by Cristina Gutierrez and Sebastien Loeb.
The first-corner clash took X44 out of the running, with Jenson Button's JBXE car operated by Mikaela Ahlin-Kottulinsky also early casualties of the four-car finale, leaving Taylor and then Kristoffersson to beat Veloce Racing duo Stephane Serrazin and then Jamie Chadwick to seal victory.
The win makes Rosberg's team 2-for-2 at the start of the Extreme E season, having come out on top in the Saudi Arabia curtain-raiser.
