The Premier League has announced the 2023/24 season's opening fixtures, welcoming some clubs to the division for the very first time.
Champions Manchester City will visit Burnley to kick off the season on Friday, August 11 with an evening match as they come up against their former defender Vincent Kompany, now in charge at Turf Moor.
Runners up Arsenal host Nottingham Forest, while Manchester United will likely feel a new-look side if their Qatari takeover goes through as rumoured, and play Wolves at Old Trafford on Monday evening.
Newcastle face Aston Villa on Saturday, while the pick of the fixtures is probably Chelsea vs. Liverpool, as they both look to get back on the path to challenge for trophies.
