Al-Hilal and DAZN set to launch exclusive channelDAZN
The Saudi Pro League club and sports streaming giant have struck a deal to deliver content across the globe.

Saudi Pro League champions Al-Hilal are set to launch a dedicated global channel with DAZN and RIYADH SEASON, marking the latest step in a blossoming partnership.

The club have signed a memorandum of understanding with the sports streaming broadcaster, set to be sponsored by the Saudi Arabian entertainment event.

One of the most recognisable names from the MENA region in world football, the move will deliver world-class content from Al-Hilal to international fans exclusively through DAZN.

The agreement ensures dedicated coverage shown worldwide and will offer an intimate insight into a team that includes superstar players such as Neymar, Joao Cancelo and Aleksandar Mitrović.

Speaking at Tuesday’s launch, His Excellency Turki Al-AlShaikh outlined the growth of Saudi football on a global scale, following on the heels of DAZN and RIYADH SEASON’s deal with SPL club Al-Nassr.

“What we are seeing in our league as a fan is something not normal, [that has] not happened before,” His Excellency told DAZN.

“I am very glad to see the vision of the crown prince, the vision of 2030 and sports especially.”

Al-Hilal earned a record 19th Saudi Pro League title last season and currently lead the table this term, with the team also looking to add to their four AFC Champions League triumphs.

DAZN’s dedicated channel will follow the club as they mount a quest for silverware on multiple fronts once again, with DAZN President of MENA Kacy Grine adding what their global fanbase can expect to see when it launches.

"When you think about Al-Hilal and Saudi, it is the Real Madrid of Saudi Arabia," Grine said.

"You want to be able to work with them, you want to be able to show behind the scenes of this big club, because it is a club that makes Saudi proud around the world.

"For us, it is important to showcase what it is to play in Saudi, to live in Saudi and to play for such a great club. This is only the beginning for us. We’re just getting started."
